Indian motorcycle industry has been witnessing a lot of changes in the new years. whereas more and more manufacturers are coming in trying to capitalise on the mounting two-wheeler market in the country, there has been a theatrical increase in the number of buyers as well. New and more populace are looking to buy exciting motorcycles as they are discover the joys of fun and leisure motorcycling. Today, we have a lot of option in the mid to high-end segment that cater to a variety of riding styles.

2017 has seen a lot of action already as far as new motorbike launch are concerned, but we have only gone past the first half of the year and there are more motorcycles lined up for launch in the lingering months. Let's have a look at five future most exciting motorcycles above INR 2 Lakhs.

Benelli 302R

Launch date- 25th July 2017

Expected price- Rs 3.5 lakh

Competes with-Yamaha YZF-R3, KTM RC390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300

DSK Banally will launch its fully faired motorcycle Benelli 302R this month as this will strengthen their sub-500cc segment. The Benelli 302R will be manufactured in India and will be located as the entry level motorcycle in company's portfolio. The motorbike will share its styling with the TNT300 and will be powered by a 300cc engine that churns out 37 hp of power and 27 Nm of torque. The Benelli 302R will be ready with disc brakes with ABS as typical.



MV Agusta- Turismo Veloce, Brutale 800RR, F3 800

Launch date- December 2017

Expected price- Rs 17 lakh to Rs 21 lakh.

MV Agusta launch Brutale 800 this year at a price of Rs 15.59 lakh and is expected to introduce three more motorcycles in India. This motorbike includes tourer motorcycle Turismo Veloce, commanding version Brutale 800RR and F3800. It is expected that the company's next launch will be Turismo Veloce, while the Brutale 800RR and F3800 will launch later. The Turismo Veloce is powered by a 796cc inline, three-cylinder unit, while the Brutale 800RR comes with a 799cc engine that produces a higher power output of 140 hp but the lower torque of 84 Nm. In addition, the F3800 is powered by a 798cc, three-cylinder locomotive that produces 148 hp of supremacy and 88Nm of torque.

TVS Apache RR310S

Launch date-August 2017

Expected Price- Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh

Competes with- KTM RC 390

TVS Apache RR310S, the much-awaited motorbike of the year, is expected to launch around mid-2017. The motorcycle has been spied many times testing on Indian roads, which reveals minor details of the Apache RR310S. The motorcycle will be motorized by a 313 cc, single cylinder, water cooled engine that is predictable to produce 32 hp of authority and 28 Nm of torque.

Royal Enfield GT750

Launch date-2017

Expected price- Rs 4 lakh

Competes with-Harley- Davidson Street 750

Royal Enfield is all set to enter the 750cc motorbike segment as the company will launch its much-awaited motorcycle Continental GT750 this year. The company has been testing the Continental GT750 over the past few months on the Indian roads. This will be the first motorcycle that will be developed in the UK-based Royal Enfield knowledge Centre. The Continental GT750 will be the flagship model in the company's product-folio and will be powered by a 750cc, parallel twin engine. The motorbike will also get twin-exhausts, twin-pod gadget cluster and ABS will be not obligatory.

Triumph Street Triple R and RS

Launch date-December 2017

Expected Price- Rs 9 lakh to Rs 10 lakh

Competition- Kawasaki Z900


success launched the Street Triple this year and announce that they will launch the superior version R and RS this year. Both the variants R and RS has more features and additional power than the S version. The Street Triple R and RS will be powered by the 765cc engine, while the R alternative churns out 116 hp of power and the RS alternative produce 121 hp of power.
