Movie Reviews Toilet Ek Prem Katha Wiki Now

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher
Director: Shree Narayan Singh

Rating: (3/5)

From Salman Khan to Priyanka Chopra, several Bollywood bigwigs selected up a broom to extend their support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Akshay Kumar took it to the next level and strong-willed to be the mission's official cheerleader and feature in a full-length film revolving around it.

It is no surprise, then, that some of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha's dialogues sound like something straight out of a public service message - "Biwi paas chahiye, toh ghar mein sandaas chahiye," "problem shauch ki nahi, soch ki hai."

The story is this. Keshav (Akshay) is a 36-year-old manglik who has been not capable to find a bride. Enter Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar). After some initial stalking turned into love, the two get married. But all hell breaks loose when Jaya is wake up at 4am by the ladies of the village to join their "lota party".

Turns out, present is not a single toilet in the village, and the women go into the fields while it is still dark to relieve themselves. Jaya refuses to respond nature's call in the open, and walks out of her marital home until Keshav builds a toilet for her.

difficulty is, the village elders will not budge - "Jis aangan mein tulsi lagate hai, wahaan shauch karna shuru kar de?" Under these circumstances, will Keshav and Jaya ever be reunited?

Since Baby (2015), Akshay Kumar has not let the loyalist in him take a backseat. In Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, too, he launches into lofty monologues about the menace of open defecation, especially its impact on women. He singlehandedly fights against the "sabhyata" and "sanskriti" squad and vows to get a toilet installed in the village. The storytelling can get tawdry at times, but Akshay manage to bring earnestness into his character.

Bhumi Pednekar makes Jaya individual; at no point does the audience feel like it is an actor essaying the part on screen. She is remarkable as the school topper who stands up for her right.

Some parts of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha could very well be an election campaign for the ruling party. Sample this: Who is responsible for the toilet scams worth thousands of crores? The people, of course! The film tells us that the government is doing its best to install toilets, but the people just won't change their mindset and let that happen. There is also a dialogue along the lines of, "Jab humare pradhan mantri desh ke bhalayi ke liye notebandi karwa sake hai, toh hum itna sa nahi kar sakte?"

What workings for the film is the hinterland humour. In an elaborate sequence, Akshay Kumar's character gets married to a buffalo to get rid of his "manglik dosh". It is the laughs which take absent your unease about the extent of the two-and-a-half-hour-long film.

If you can manage to ignore its preachiness at times, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is worth the price of your ticket, GST included.

Toilet'Ek Prem Katha'A directorial triumph Review Wiki

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Divyendu Sharma, Sudhir Pande and Anupam Kher;
Director: Shree Narayan Singh

Rating: ****

There is a summit of no return in the plot when we, the audience, become so immersed in the protagonist's crusade for a better tomorrow that we are cheering and stomping our feet in support for that bright sunshine-drenched tomorrow of which Sahir Ludhianvi dreamt in "Pyaasa" and "Phir Subah Hogi".

Our character Madhav's battle is not really reformatory in the way the great heroes of our period meant it to be. In Hrishikesh Mukherjee's "Satyakam", when the protagonist Dharmendra marries the rape victim, he does it with the least amount of self-congratulations. In "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha", Akshay Kumar's assignment to build a toilet for his wife is compare with Shah Jahan building the Taj Mahal for his wife.I wonder who should feel more affronted by such flamboyant self-glorification: Moghul history or Modi politics. Either way, there is much too much self-congratulations and heroic hurrahs playing at the foreground of this exciting drama, accompanied by an over-punctuated backdrop score.

Akshay Kumar means business. This film is not so much a means of transportation to promote the Prime Minister's Swachh Bharat campaign as to promote Akshay Kumar, period. He milks the film for all his trademark chuckles and giggles, making Madhav seem like a Basu Chatterjee hero with a certain sly and smooth sinewiness to his great courage.

It is debutant director Shree Narayan Singh who proves you don't need extra sinewiness to shine in every frame. He is the Basu Chatterjee and Hrishikesh Mukherjee of our times. He makes hygiene and sanitation seem humorous without trivialising or tempering the issue. The sorority evidenced among the village women as they crowd off in the morning for nature call is captured with a deferential laugh.

Here is testimony that a film can make a social end without wearing a constantly sullen demeanour.

all the way through the lengthy film, the director maintains a kinetic momentum. He has his character's feelings on his fingertips. He digs into the high-points in the stage demonstrate with the disarmed delight of a kid scooping into a basin of icecream. He negotiates the dips and curves in this bombastic tale of a man who must fight sanskaar' (no no, not the kind favoured by the censor board) to build a toilet for his newly matrimonial wife.

A warm rudeness and a nimble wisdom pervade the storytelling. The plot is a pyramid of high-pitched drama captured in the basic colours of nature's components by cinematographer Anshuman Mahaley (he had shot the first "Jolly LLB" film using an equally gritty palate). That the director is also the editor, helps him to remain on top of the commodious material. But the film could have been abridged post-interval where some of the toilet-building drama get repetitive and shrill.

Though the high-pitched propagandist tenor and tone of the narration turn out to be overpowering after a tip as does Akshay Kumar's exaggerated humanism -- the film keeps us absolutely close to its heart as Madhav and Jaya's love story acquires a universality by dint of their close affinity to the grassroot level of continuation.

Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar play against one another in sparring spasms, their age difference notwithstanding. They look like a couple. The real performing sparks fly when the supporting castSudhir Pande, Divyendu Sharma, Anupam Kher  are approximately to lend heft to the socio-political quarrel on how women in rural India require dignity before empowerment.

This is essentially a cause-without-pause melodrama set at an opulent octave. gladly, executive Shree Narayan Singh counterbalances those shrill notes of self-righteousness and propaganda with just the right doses of warmth, humour and irony.

Don't look for subtlety in the storytelling in "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" and you will come away a happy viewer with some significant thoughts on how non-metropolitan India exists without caving into a depression.

Come up with a Royal Enfield competitor-Here's what to expect

After days of speculations nearby the sale of Ducati and Bajaj being the one to buy it, a big announcement came through today. Bajaj Auto enter into a non-equity tie-up with Triumph Motorcycles of UK to make mid-range motorcycles. Now before we dive further into the details of this, let me make it clear that Bajaj is still not out of the race to buy Ducati and the deal with achievement is independent of it. So we could still see Bajaj organism the proud owner of the iconic Ducati brand. That said, let's get straight to the details of the tie-up with Triumph, which came out of nowhere. Rajiv Bajaj had stated an interesting alliance to be announce but no one expected Triumph to be the other partner. Now that we know they are going to co-develop and sell motorcycles, let us evaluate what is it that you as a buyer can imagine to buy in the next few years.

'Mid-range' is the keyword in the friendship release and while both brands have not disclosed anything else about the type of motorcycles they'll make, it's not a very hard guess and here's why. The new range of motorcycles will in all likelihood be contrived at Bajaj's plant in Chakan, Maharashtra. Benefiting from Bajaj's well-established network of suppliers and scale of manufacturing, it'll be possible to maintain ready for action pricing. Triumph, on the other hand, will present technology and design inputs for the new motorcycles.

Now, what type of motorcycles are we talking about? Sports slice is out of the question as Bajaj already makes KTM at its Chakan plant and considering the stellar sales performance of KTM in India, there's no reason why Bajaj would want to overlay similar products and mystify the buyers. In addition, there's Husqvarna as well, which will soon come to India. So what does that leave us with? In glasses case you just murmured Royal Enfield or Bullet, give yourselves a pat on the back.

Royal Enfield's fugitive success did leave most companies awestruck globally but there wasn't much they could do as they simply didn't have a product to take on the legendary Bullet. Soon though, companies realised that the number of buyers in this space kept growing at a extraordinary pace and Honda was the first global company to openly declare a motorbike aimed at competing with Royal Enfield. Triumph and Bajaj too will most likely make motorcycles displacing between 300 to 600 cc, which is the stronghold of Royal Enfield right now.

So what you be supposed to expect from this tie-up is a mini Bonneville kind of motorcycle that will most likely be powered by a range of single-cylinder engines to keep cost in check. Expect the 'Bonneville' brand to be used on the new range as it is important to have a brand with the legacy to take on the Bullet. Considering Bajaj's capacity to price KTMs way below expectations, it'll be safe to expect the new Bajaj Triumph bikes to be priced aggressively and not too far away from the Royal Enfield prices. However, do not look forward to these bikes to challenge Royal Enfield prices like KTM, which mainly went up aligned with the locally-assembled competition. In this case, though, it's local manufacturing on both ends so the chances of a noteworthy gap in prices are slim.

What's in it for the companies?

Quite simply, more sales and more money but for Bajaj particularly it'll be a big development as Rajiv Bajaj has had his eyes on the Royal Enfield segment for a while now and he was quite vocal about it at the launch of the Dominar 400 also. Over the last few years, Bajaj has pursued higher profitability instead of volumes and a strong attendance in the 300-600 cc cruiser market will be in line with the company's approach.

For Triumph, this progress will mean introduction into an all-new low-displacement segment, which in turn will allow the British brand to grow appreciably in terms of volumes, similar to the growth KTM witnessed after Bajaj bought a stake in it.

What about Royal Enfield then? First, the company should be glad that it dominates a segment that international brands are now waking up to in pursuit of growth. At the same time, the Chennai-based company should also be worried as no antagonism till now meant they could get away with quality and technology issues. With the Bajaj and Triumph tie-up and Honda now in the picture, things could be quite different as all three companies are well-respected for their industrial capability in their respective segments of operation. Royal Enfield will also need to look at a faster pace of introducing new models in order to keep new competitor in check.

The middle-weight squad car category is all set to witness tremendous action over the next few years and the single-largest winner is going to the consumer. customers presently lack choices in this segment but soon, you might have multiple global products to choose from, which won't necessarily burn a hole in your pocket. Whether or which company become successful or not will take a few years to be known as we expect Bajaj and Triumph to be ready with their new bike in the next two to three years and Honda too will be ready only by 2020. However, what I can reassure you of is temperatures soaring in the Indian premium cruiser motorbike segment and for a rider that only means better and well-priced motorcycles to ride.

Mubarakan movie reviews Anil Kapoor Arjun Kapoor wiki

Cast: Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty, Neha Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah

Director: Anees Bazme

Rating: Two stars

Twin trouble capers come preloaded with a certain degree of comedian verve. So does Mubarakan, directed by Anees Bazmee of No Entry and Singh is Kinng reputation. But in trying to squeeze every ounce of hilarity out of its scrappy screenplay, the film goes overboard with its unnecessary cheeriness and swerves into the realm of inanity. In the bargain, it loses its way finally after delivering a fairly gusty first half.

Mubarakan is generally puerile, sporadically fun, and always unabashedly over the top. It is just the sort of mix of song, dance, comic gags and unchecked lunacy that Bollywood's mass audience so loves. So, there is superhit written all over the film, but this puffy potion simply isn't for those with a taste for more subtle and easy-flowing humour. Mubarakan tries too hard to tickle our humorous bones and the effort show.

Its songs and comic gag are of the routine variety. It seeks to drive itself on the back of the seductive power of familiarity, manages to do a tolerable job pre-interval but, taken as a whole, Mubarakan is neatly and niftily package crap that never stops reeking of stupidity. If there is anything positive in this attempt laugh riot, it is its refusal to take itself seriously - an attribute that stand the film in good stead when it begins to make bigger beyond the plausible and the drivable.

Mubarakan is a comedy that revolve around two weddings and a whole lot of confusion. Before the lovebirds can have their nuptials solemnized in a gurudwara, they boast to fly though two-and-a-half hours of turmoil caused by familial pressure and mistaken amorous liaison.

The twins alienated at birth are played by Arjun Kapoor. One, Charan, grows up as a turbaned Sardar in the home of Baldev (Pavan Malhotra) in Punjab. The other, Karan, is raised by Baldev's elder sister Jeeto (Ratna Pathak Shah), in London. In the film's notch sequence, the two boys lose their parents in a road mishap. Their bachelor uncle Kartar (Anil Kapoor), who has bowed a rustic part of the UK into a mini Punjab, divides the orphans sandwiched between his two elder siblings and then profits to fuel the chaos that ensues when the duo is ready for dalliances.

The clumsy Charan, five minutes Karan's junior, loves Nafisa Qureishi (Neha Sharma) but lacks the guts to let his conservative folks know his feelings for the girl. As a consequence, his minister and his London-based aunt decide that he is a suitable boy for Binkle (Athiya Shetty), offspring of a wealthy Punjabi (Rahul Dev).

Charan turns to uncle Kartar for help in order to scuttle the in the near future wedding. At the uncle's behest, he passes himself off as a drug addict. Binkle's father and her brother Manpreet (Karan Kundrra) throw a fit and humiliate Charan's adoptive father Baldev. The latter and Jeeto end up fighting so violently over the imbroglio that they stop talking to every other. The slighted Baldev asserts that he will find a bride for Charan within a month. He foliage for Chandigarh without exchanging goodbyes.

In Punjab, Baldev chances upon Sweety Gill (Ileana D'Cruz) and plumps for her as Charan's future wife. The trouble is, unbeknownst to the world, Sweety is Karan's girlfriend. She has had the worst possible brush with Jeeto, calling her probable mom-in-law names that the latter doesn't forget in a hurry. The next thing that the cocksure Karan knows is that he is currently the chosen one for Binkle. He, too, seeks the involvement of Kartar in order to wriggle out of the hole he has dig for himself.

The rigmarole is pleasurable up to a point but once the idiocy quotient peaks, the overlong Mubarakan goes rather haywire. Yet, if it isn't as insufferable as other usual Bollywood romantic comedies, a part of the credit goes to the actors. Anil Kapoor, who is as wild as ever, lends some lustre to the proceedings with his impressive energy level and funny one-liners.

Arjun Kapoor is far less dependable in his double role, but he does strike a few purple patches along the way, demonstrating a comic flair that cries out for a better pictures than this one. The script gives Athiya Shetty the rough end of the stick. Her character, as Kartar says at one point, is like a tennis ball being lobbed back and forth among Charan's side of the court and Karan's without being allowed any agency of her own. Mubarakan, nevertheless, gives Ileana D'Cruz far more space and she make the most of the opening.

Neha Sharma, in a particular appearance, is allowed little that could be described as special in a role that definitely deserved more attention. She plays a harsh Muslim girl with a successful law job who does not fit into the mainstream Sikh brood's scheme of things and has to settle for a hurried, last-minute adjustment, which entails jumping into a new bond with Binkle's brother. That's a copout of the worst kind. But to expect nuanced and mould-breaking shared dynamics in a film like Mubarakan is to take it more badly than its makers themselves do.

Why KFC's new 'Whole Chicken' advert has caused controversy

KFC prides itself on using locally sourced, 100% chicken meat in its meals, however it appears its new advertising campaign importance its use of "The Whole Chicken" may have backfired. Chicken dancing to the slaughter house."

It is an disagreement backed up by PETA, with the animal rights organisation's director Elisa Allen telling The Independent: "It certainly looks as if we designed it, because it challenges anyone thinking of eating chickens to look these smart, sociable, sensitive and stunning birds in the eye and recognise that they're persons, not body parts to be decrepit as nuggets."

The Kona joins a growing field of subcompacts. Even sister Kia will have a player with the all-new Stonic, which will also use the new stage that underpins the Kona.

Hyundai has brought us to Seoul, South Korea, with about 400 other the media for the Konas global premiere. The small SUV will be sold around the world, preliminary in Korea next month and followed by North America and Europe. The 2018 Kona will go on sale in the U.S. in the first quarter of next year.

The Kona joins Hyundais SUV/crossover lineup, which includes the Tucson, Santa Fe, and Santa Fe Sport. These vehicles are crucial to Hyundais success in todays market, where clientele continue to choose utility vehicles more than cars. Hyundai has posted a series of declines in quarterly profits as sales slumped in China and the U.S., and in 2016 Kia did the unlikely when it outsold Hyundai.
The Kona has the latent to turn fortunes around. It is being billed as an urban SUV with a low, wide stance and bold and modern styling for an adventurous buyer, complete with shield on the front and sides and wing-type fenders. The Kona also offers the first look at the design route for the next production of Hyundai SUVs, complete with Hyundais now-signature cascading grille with a mesh pattern.

Like the other SUVs in the stable, the Kona was named after a travel purpose, with Kia this time choose the coastal region of Hawaiis big island.

Hyundai also used the depress event to show the Kona Iron Man Special Edition with armor styled after the suit worn by the Marvel character. The intersect is actually 40mm (1.6 inches) wider than the regular Kona, and it has special LED headlights under a matte gray hood with red and bullion accent and an Iron Man mask clasp in the center of the 19-inch wheels and off-road tires.
Like with numerous small vehicles, the design intent of the Kona is masculine and aggressive, making every attempt to look bigger and fiercer than its size would propose, with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. The designer went for dissimilarity and a high-tech look with revolutionary LED lighting and slim running lights that add in the turn signals and slim taillights.

The Kona was also planned to be customized with an collection of color variations and a two-tone roof. It has a sleek and simple interior, and Hyundai executive claim it has best-in-class interior space. The infotainment touchscreen, which comes in an variety of sizes, appears to float on the control panel, and the Kona has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is even a head-up display and optional smartphone wireless charging that remind you to take your telephone when you leave the vehicle.

Kias Kona entrant, the all-new Stonic, went for even edger styling. It also adopts slim headlights, which is becoming part of the companys look under designer Peter Schreyer. Even the upper-scale origin brand adopted slimmer headlights on the GV80 SUV thinking shown at the New York auto show.

The Kona rides on a new compact SUV platform that gives it greater ground clearance, elective four-wheel drive, an important seating position, and split-folding rear seats that fold flat for more room for bags and gear. There is also a two-level load floor to make it easier to grab a bike or golf clubs.
The engine choices include:

a 2.0-liter Atkinson engine that generate 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed habitual transmission;
a 1.6-liter turbo GDI engine producing 175 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque, matched with a seven-speed dual-clutch broadcast;
and in Europe, a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder locomotive with a six-speed manual transmission or a 1.6-liter diesel engine.
Hyundai also has the electric Ioniq, and Kia has the Niro Electric coming next year, a testament to the Korean assurance to pure electric vehicles. They are both resultant from the same dedicated platform.

The Kona has a McPherson strut front postponement; there are different rear suspensions for two-wheel- and four-wheel-drive vehicles, the latter having a dual-arm multilink system. The Konas lightweight steel body is made, not unpredictably, of Hyundai steel.
Safety systems take in forward collision avoidance that brakes routinely if the driver fails to, lane keep assist that will steer when required, high-beam assist, driver attention caution when the car recognizes you are not driving well, blind-spot collision word of warning and rear cross-traffic collision warning.

India will not get this funky cross but we do hope Hyundai India can bring this as it would be a big hit if it do come.

Vikram Vedha movie review 2017

Film: Vikram Vedha

Director: Pushkar-Gayatri

Cast: R Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar

Rating: 4/5

Vikram Vedha, in each sense, is truly path-breaking and all credit goes to its writer and director duo Pushkar-Gayatri, the husband-wife duo who has made a physically powerful comeback after seven years with a film that’ll be remembered for, say, the next seven years. Not only is their film entertaining from start to finish, it’s equally attractive and it succeeds in piquing the intellect of audiences like no recent Tamil film.

The plot is effortless. A team lead by Vikram (R Madhavan), a ruthless, no-nonsense meet cop, is on the hunt to capture/kill a dreaded gangster Vedha (Vijay Sethupathi). In this battle of good versus evil, as audiences we are left to pick a side but everything you see is not what you believe. There’s always another side to all in life and Vikram Vedha, in the most entertaining fashion, makes its viewers understand this attitude.

The film keeps approaching us to judge its characters, judge an important person by their actions, judge someone by their upbringing and in the process proves how wrong we could be in our assumptions. Pushkar-Gayatri borrow the story structure from popular folklore Vikram Betaal, and use it very effectively to make Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi lock horns. The confrontation scenes between Madhavan and Vijay are easily the film’s best moment as they end in fireworks.

Vikram Vedha turns each predictable moment into an unimaginable twist and it works in the film’s favour beautifully. The black-and-white symbol, used extensively throughout the film and even in the theme song, explores the space between good and bad. Every quality has shades of grey and it would be impossible to imagine who could be good or bad. still the costumes are predominantly black and white. Even in terms of shot composition, in every frame of the film, you’ll find white as healthy as black space.

The performances of Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi come as a extra to some terrific writing. It’s a joy to watch them lock horns and they make you root for both of them. While Madhavan is good, Vijay is unarguably the best thing to have happened to the film. It’s with unmatchable swag he plays Vedha, a character powered by wit, fearlessness and street-smart accepted wisdom. The film also has strong women Shraddha and Varalaxmi  rising above the usual interpretation of heroines in Tamil cinema and leaving a eternal impact.

Munna Michael movie reviews 2017

Cast: Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nidhhi Agerwal, Ronit Roy

Director: Sabbir Khan

Rating: 1.5 Stars (Out of 5)

This is a classic demonstration of filmmaking by rote. A big city waif grows up into a young man who adores Michael Jackson and is strong-minded to follow in the path of the King of Pop. The Mumbai lad hopes that his mouth as a performer will one day be his ticket out the chawl anyplace he was raised by Michael (Ronit Roy), a hard-drinking Catholic bloke no different from all the talkative Catholic characters that we have come across in Hindi films over the years. The foster-father never graduate beyond the level of a chorus dancer. Munna, the superfluous boy he rescued off the mean streets, does not want to end up as one.

So what does the guy do? He does the whole thing that Tiger Shroff did in his previous two outings under the directorial supervision of Sabbir Khan (Heropanti and Baaghi) - dance a lot and fight a lot without achieving anything that could be construed as consequential. The film about a youngster who has his sights set on winning a dance match is a formulaic and frenzied mix of over-the-top choreography, action sequence, a forcibly tagged-on love story and a bad guy who gives no quarters, all which simple fly by in a blur. In other words, Munna Michael is a mixed-genre evil that never hits any kind of rhythm.

Matters begin settle down a just a tad when a Rajasthani dialect-spouting hoodlum Mahinder (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) enters the scene. He requirements to learn how to dance in organize to impress the girl he loves. The ambitious protagonist agrees to become the land-grabbing goon's dance instructor because he sees in the association of expediency the key to his future.

All is hunky-dory until it turns out that the educator and the trainee are in love with the same girl, Dolly (debutante Nidhhi Agerwal), who herself is no mean dancer. The rigmarole that ensues is as unappetizing as surveillance two men jostle for a toehold on a treadmill. After spending a part of the film delivering gifts to Dolly on behalf of Mahinder, Munna sees improved percentage in profess love to her. Mahinder, on his part, see red and all hell breaks.

The superwoman has challenges other than competing with two men vying for her consideration - her father is opposed to her pursuit of dancing glory. It is obvious that it is men who call the shots in the girl's life. Mahinder pursues her devoid of as much as a by-your-leave; Munna assumes the role of a knight in shining armour (again, without Dolly being permissible much of a say in the matter). And then this 'invisible' father is spring upon us.

As is obvious, Munna Michael has nothing original or novel on offer. Tiger Shroff's choice as an actor could fit into a single-toned miniature - you don't need to see Munna Michael to come to that conclusion. It simply serves as a aide memoire. The film follows a simple formula: Tiger dances when he isn't fighting and he fight when he isn't dancing. Why can't the guy just make up his intelligence whether he wants to be Michael Jackson or Jean-Claude Van Damme and stick to using either his nimble feet or his electric fists to make his point? In in quest of to do both with equal gusto he falls between two stools, transportation the film with him.

This whole dance-action sort is a dubious Bollywood invention created for actor and screenplay writers whose imagination runs out of steam as soon as the focus begins to move away from the dance floor or the action set pieces. It is the straightforward way out. Sadly, the way out here goes in a single direction - down.

What, then, is Nawazuddin Siddiqui doing in a film like this? The astounding thing about this actor is that he extracts life out of the most comatose of scenes, combine menace and comicality to carve out the persona of a bad guy who is good to watch. Wish one could say the same about Munna Michael the film. Even if you were in a above all lenient frame of mind, you wouldn't be able to bring yourself to spot anything at all in the film that could be held up as a positive feature.

Debutante Nidhhi Agerwal isn't a complete article. Tiger Shroff, with all his boundaries, is beginning to get there, but what his choice of roles and films tells us is that dance and action are his scene. But in the absence of a articulate screenplay to hang all the hyperactivity from, his grand scenes fizzle out.

Munna Michael is only for fans of Tiger Shroff. All ye that haven't yet figure out what he is about, stay out of the way. You aren't likely to go home purring and dancing after watching this one.

Baadshaho May Self-Censor cuts Intimate Scene Between Ajay Devgn And Ileana D'Cruz

Filmmaker Milan Luthria's Baadshaho, starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz, is all set discharge in theatres on September 1. Ahead of its release, the director has determined to trim a 10-minute intimate scene from the movie to avoid objections from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), reported mid-day. "The scene sandwiched between Ileana and Ajay, if left as is, lasts for 10 minutes. It's aesthetically shot and is crucial to the film's plot. But Milan strong-willed to shorten it, trimming the kisses and bareback shots. He didn't want to be a magnet for the wrath of the Censors," mid-day quoted an insider as saying.

"The film is all-out marketable and he wants it to get a U/A certificate. The scene would have resulted in an 'A' certificate," the insider added.

Baadshaho is set against the environment of Emergency (1975-1977). The film narrates a fictional story of six people who try to bring a change in their destiny by pull of a heist.

Baadshaho also stars Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film has been lengthily shot in Rajasthan.

It (Emergency as subject) is a great setting for action and thrills. We have done wide-ranging research on the subject," PTI quoted Mr Luthria as saying.

The teaser of Baadshaho was unveil by the makers of the film on June 20.

Baadshaho marks Ajay Devgn's fourth association with Milan Luthria. They have previously worked together in films like Kachche Dhaage, Chori Chori and previously Upon a Time in Mumbaai.
