Good News-Kerala High Court lifts life ban on S Sreesanth

Comment page----

Kerala High Court has lifted the ban imposed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on cricketer  Sreesanth. The seamier was charged earlier for his taking part in the spot fixing scandal in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was expelled in September 2013 for his alleged spot fixing in the IPL and he was charged alongside two of his Rajasthan Royals teammates, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan. However, he was acquit in the spot-fixing case in July 2015.

The latest growth comes as a relief to the bowler who has been fighting for justice since the acquittal but BCCI continued to hold out and didn't lift the life ban imposed on him. In a hearing in March, Kerala HC sought BCCI’s stand on the plea filed by Sreesanth which challenged the life ban. The bowler had then filed a petition challenging the BCCI's verdict not to lift the ban despite being exonerated by the Delhi High Court in 2015.

The player had argue that not lifting the ban violated his constitutional rights considering BCCI had taken into account the same charges applied on him by the Delhi Police for which he was later blank by the Court. In 2013, BCCI had suspended him and ordered an enquiry following his arrest in May 2013. He argued that BCCI's enquiry team had submit the report without giving him a due chance of hearing.
But he was given a chance to provide his version in writing later although the supplementary report was filed without taking the written version into due contemplation. He was then issued a show cause notice before the ban was compulsory on him.

BCCI's affidavit earlier in the year said, "The standard of proof required under a penal statute is much higher than the corroboration required for a disciplinary inquiry. Therefore, on an appreciation of the same evidence, one may not be guilty of criminal penalty but can be found guilty for violating the internal disciplinary rules of an association."

After the judgment on Monday, S Sreesanth wrote on Twitter, "God is great..thanks for the all the love and support".

Review revealed about the Bajaj Pulsar NS160

The new Pulsar NS160 marks Bajaj’s onslaught in the quality commuter category. Locking horns against the likes of the Yamaha FZ-S FI, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer and the TVS Apache RTR 160, the Pulsar NS160 aims to pull towards you buyers looking for an efficient yet stylish commuter motorcycle. Here is a quick impression of the five things concerning the Pulsar NS160 that caught our attention

The Pulsar NS160 fundamentally sports a five year old design. But the way the designer at Bajaj have played with the dull grey makes the Pulsar NS160 look contemporary even today. The dual-tone paint schemes, edgy headlamp, tank addition and the new belly pan highlight the bike’s well-developed character, making it position out in the crowd.

Bajaj has strike a nice balance of comfort and sportiness with the riding position of the Pulsar NS160. The raised clip-on handlebar keeps your torso upright and the sculpted boiler allows a good grip on the bike. These joined with the rear set footpegs give the Pulsar NS160 a big bike feel, similar to its elder sibling.

The Pulsar NS160 is 10 kilograms lighter than the Pulsar NS200 gratitude to lighter wheels, skinnier forks and regular tubeless tyres. And the results are imposing. The lighter front conclusion and narrow profile front tyre makes the Pulsar NS160 a very lively motorcycle, ready to change direction at the drop of a hat.

The Pulsar NS160 engine gets a flat torque spread, more in line with a person along for the ride motorcycle than a sporty offering. This makes is very easy to ride in traffic. You can whack open the throttle at any given second for a quick overtake.  However, this also makes the recital a little unexciting. With a suspension and brake pedal setup this good, we would have liked the engine to pack a punch.

The Pulsar NS160 feels fairly horizontal when you are puttering around the city. However, go past 5,000rpm and it has its fair share of feelings. You can feel a buzz on the handlebars, foot pegs and the fuel tank which gets frustrating after a while. Even the exhaust note past 5,000rpm sounds unpleasant after a while.

Snapdeal, run by Jasper Infotech Pvt. Ltd, has walked missing from talks to sell itself to Flipkart and the struggling online marketplace will now try and survive as an independent entity by advertising assets and hurtful costs.

The decision to end debate with Flipkart marks a big win for Snapdeal founders Kunal Bahl (CEO) and Rohit Bansal (chief operating officer), both of whom were against the sale to their on oath enemy Flipkart from the start. Bahl and Bansal have won the bitter boardroom battle against Snapdeal’s largest investor SoftBank Group Corp, which was approaching for the sale to Flipkart.Snapdeal’s vision has always been to create life-changing experiences for millions of buyers and sellers across India. We have a new and persuasive direction - Snapdeal 2.0 - that uniquely furthers this vision, and have made significant progress towards the ability to execute this by achieve a gross profit this month. In addition, with the sale of certain non-core assets, Snapdeal is expected to be monetarily self-sustainable,” a Snapdeal representative said in a declaration.

A SoftBank speaker said the company would “look forward” to the results of Snapdeal’s new plan.

“Supporting entrepreneurs and their vision and aspiration is at the heart of Masayoshi Son’s and SoftBank’s investment viewpoint. As such, we respect the decision to pursue an sovereign strategy. We look forward to the results of the Snapdeal 2.0 strategy, and to remaining invested in the vibrant Indian e-commerce space,” the spokesperson said in a report.

Mintreported on Monday that the proposed Snapdeal sale to Flipkart can be called off as the founders and shareholders of the harassed online marketplace have not yet agreed on the terms of the deal.

Last week, it seem like the on-again-off-again Flipkart-Snapdeal merger would finally be completed. On 26 July, the board of online marketplace Snapdeal gave the go-ahead to the friendship to continue consultation to sell itself to Flipkart, which had increased its buyout offer to $850 million two weeks ago. But over the weekend, Snapdeal and Flipkart cancelled a key summit that was scheduled for Monday to continue dialogue over the deal.

Make Healthy Homemade Energy Drinks With Apple Cider Vinegar Wiki

Why buy luxurious energy drinks that could send you to the hospital when the perfect energy supplement is right in your kitchen closet? Apple cider vinegar, that old standby, is recognized for its ability to add a number of pep to your step.

Beverages flavored with vinegar have been accepted on and off for thousands of years. While you may not want to try eating the stuff straight—the acid can irritate your throat and digestive tract—you can dilute it with water or seltzer to make a healthy, invigorating drink or turn it into a fancier refreshment called a shrub or a switchel. These drinks are the perfect way to enjoy the physical condition benefits of apple cider vinegar any time of the day or nighttime.

(Slash your cholesterol, burn stubborn belly fat, solve your sleeplessness, and more—naturally!—with Rodale's Eat For Extraordinary Health & Healing!)

The most healthy type of apple cider vinegar to use is an organic, unpasteurized, unfiltered variety, such as Bragg's Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, because it not only is a rich basis of minerals and other nutrients, but also contains beneficial probiotic bacteria that can boost your resistant system.

If you have a foundation of fresh cider, you can even create your own apple cider vinegar, a fun late-summer or fall product for the hard-core foodie. But purchase vinegar is a great base for these beverages.

Here are 7 recipes to try:

Plain Apple Cider Vinegar Health Drink

2 teaspoons raw, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
2 cups water

unite and serve. Often recommended as a boost before each meal in folk remedies to lessen just about anything that ails you.

Honey-Ade

This flippantly sweet energy drink harnesses the power of raw honey, which can help with the symptoms of seasonal allergies and give you an vigor boost.

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon raw darling
2 cups water (warm)

unite and stir until the honey dissolves. serve up it cold as a sweet-tangy summertime drink or sip it hot help calm a scratchy throat.

Haymaker's Punch (Switchel)

I first encounter this drink in one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" books, as "ginger water," which her mother made to send to the men in the hot field cutting hay by hand. It tastes like still ginger beer, and the ginger helps keep it from upsetting your stomach the way drinking too much cold water at once might on a hot day. (Here are 7 more astonishing health benefits of eating ginger.)

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey (or any other sweetener of your choice)
2 cups water
¼ teaspoon new grated gingerroot or a pinch of dry earth ginger

join and stir until the honey dissolves. Serve cold as a sweet-tangy summertime drink. If you make this often, you can save yourself a number of time by making a honey-ginger syrup to keep in the fridge and use that instead of mixing up the ingredient each time.

See the video below for an straightforward way to peel fresh ginger:

Switchel Fizz

replacement unflavored seltzer for plain irrigate in the Haymaker's Punch switchel recipe.

Fruit Juice Shrub

Shrubs, also called eating vinegars, are flavorful, tangy, and magnificently refreshing, made from a fruity vinegar syrup mixed with water or seltzer. They harken back to the Colonial era when vinegar syrups were varied with spirits to make cocktails—which you can also do (more on that below!).

Start by creation your vinegar-syrup shrub concentrate:

1 cup fruit juice
½ cup honey or 1 cup natural sugar (use more or less, depending on the sweetness of the juice and your taste)
1 cup apple cider vinegar

1. unite and store in your refrigerator in a covered jar. You can heat the fruit juice and sugar on the stove to help the sugar dissolve, but don't add the vinegar until after that's refrigerated or you'll kill off the happy little probiotics that make the vinegar so well.

2. To build your shrub, combine 1 part think with 3 or 4 parts cold water or unflavored seltzer.

Fresh Fruit Shrub

Similar to making shrub deliberate with fruit juice, this slower method allows more complex flavors to develop, and you can use a wider mixture of fruits and spices for truly exotic flavors. Plus, it's a great way to use the appetizing whole fruits that are in season.

1 to 2 cups chop ripe fruit (peaches, berries, even rhubarb, or a mixture)
½ cup honey or 1 cup organic sugar (use more or less, depending on the sweetness of the fruit and your taste)
1 cup apple cider vinegar
Optional: minced lemongrass, fresh mint, basil, a cinnamon stick, or what on earth spice suits the fruit and your taste.

1. unite in a large glass jar, cover loosely (don't tighten the lid), and let it sit at room temperature for two days. Then refrigerate for a couple of weeks to let the flavors leach out into the fluid.

2. Strain and store in the refrigerator in a covered jar. To make a shrub, coalesce one part concentrate with 3 or 4 parts cold water or unflavored seltzer.

Shrubbery Cocktails

A shrub think, with its balance of acid and sweetness, can be the perfect way to add flavor to your favorite liquor without adding excess sugariness. (They may not boost your energy though!) Creative bartenders are crafting astonishing shrub syrups (rosemary-pineapple, strawberry-basil, lime-chili, and watermelon-white pepper are some combinations I've seen) and combine them with rum, vodka, whisky, or even craft beers to fashion name cocktails. If fancy drinks are your passion, making your own shrub concentrate can open up a new world of almost unlimited potential. Here's one basic shrub-cocktail recipe:

Combine 1 part bush concentrate with 3 to 4 parts gleaming wine (dry to sweet, depending on your taste). Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit, a curl of citrus zest, or a sprig of fresh herb to match or harmonize the shrub's flavor.

This is a entirely faired motorcycle. So, in a way, it’s already more attractive to the broad Indian population than say the TNT 300 it shares its heart with. And that fairing is a big, showy stickered piece.

Add to it the extensive and tapering tail and a twin torpedo for an exhaust, and it is no surprise the world does a double take all time you ride past. But, from a wholly aesthetic viewpoint, it isn’t pretty; at least not in the straight sense.

The specs on manuscript tell a very different story to how the 302R performs in the real world. A fully faired motorcycle with a liquid cooled, fuel injected, 300cc analogous twin engine and nearly 40bhp ought to go like stink. But, the Benelli doesn’t. It isn’t slow, of course, but it also isn’t as quick or exciting as the other 300s in the marketplace.

However, get over the tranquil power delivery and outstanding winless at traffic light GPs, and the 302R begins to grow on you. Not only is it easy to ride and live with for a ‘sporty’ motorcycle, it’s also roomy and contented and quite convenient in the city.

The other fixed idea that comes with a fully faired motorcycle is that it will be a brilliant companion on your knee scrap endeavours. The Benelli doesn’t fit that stereotype either. It has relatively low and forward set footpegs for a supersports bike one of the reason why it is relaxed. And, it has a relatively high set handlebar.

So, in receipt of your kneedown on this one requires a little more hanging off than usual. It doesn’t feel natural doing it, but sure, it can be done. The fact that the 302R has seriously grippy tyres just makes it worth the attempt. And no, it is no slouch approximately bends either; it isn’t rich in terms of feedback, but it in no doubt can corner.

What’s clear is that the 302R borrow from its naked sibling the TNT 300. These do share the same engine and gearbox. But the chassis is quite different. As is the seating ergonomics. And there have been some revisions made to the powertrain as well. As a effect, on the road, the two bikes feel moderately diverse.

The TNT 300 feels heavier, slower to act in response and not as easy to ride around, even at slower pace. The 302R on the other hand, feels more flickable, sure-footed and alert. And even in the city, it feels lighter on its foot.

Yes, it does. Be it the drinking note at full throttle opening or the tire out note post 6,500rpm, the 302R does echo like a much bigger bike. It’s not loud sufficient to draw a policeman’s ire, but it will get you noticed. It also make you believe that you are disappearing a lot sooner than you really are.

Tata Nexon Car Review 2017

except you have been living under a rock, you would be very well conscious of a particular species of automobiles which has caught the fancy of car buyer unlike anything else. Of route I am talking about the compact SUV. It is quite easy to work out the appeal of one as it straddle between two worlds- bringing the design and petition of an SUV but also the quickness and clever packaging of a hatch. pointless to say whatever new launch have taken place have all been lapped by eagerly by the Indian car buyer.

Tata Motors, reasonably does not want to miss the compact SUV party but while they are late they sure have made everyone sit up and take notice. Meet the radical Tata Nexon and it is very much the most crucial car for Tata Motors. While the Tiago buy them onto the right path, the Nexon is very much stepping on the gas. Thus how good is this new compact SUV? Does it live to the hype and has it been appeal the wait? Read on.

Are you sure this is a manufacture car? Does not look like it right? That is the genius of the Nexon and Tata Motors have hit a bulls eye here. Let us face it, design matter and the Nexon would not have created this much buzz had it not been this radical. It is as though it has been plucked right out of a motor show place and put into production. Virtually unchanged. The figure is not made to be bland as it is shock and awe. The Nexon is a intersect and makes no skeleton about it.

The leaning roofline, coupe like design, the swoopy and curvaceous design all look stunning. It is not overdone and it just gels wonderfully. The front gets the Tata autograph humanity line but it is much more aggressive and bolder while the LED DRLs look superb and we love how the headlights merge with the people line and grille.

The side reveal chunky 16 inch alloys, cladding plus the dissimilarity roof looks cool as well. The real highlight for me though is the ceramic paint finish running all over as that looks implausible. The rear admittedly is not the best angle for the Nexon where it reveals itself as more of a hatch on stilts but still slightly cool looking tail-lamps merge with the earthenware paint finish 'x-factor' line.

Overall exterior erect quality has attained a new average for Tata Motors. The paint finish, panel gaps and especiallly the cermaic paint finish is excecuted of high quality. complete marks for Tata Motors here.

What about interiors? Again it is a big jump on or after even the Hexa and the Tiago. The design works very well and indeed looks quite best and well finished. Yes, while it may share a few bits and pieces (like the steering wheel) with its stablemates, elsewhere quality and looks have been a notch up and we say in terms of interior design it is in the midst of the class best right now.

The centre console is tastefully designed with hurry top 6.5 inch HD touchscreen being the main highlight. The location of the touchscreen is as such that you do not need to take your eyes off the road to glance.

The touchscreen workings quite well and thanfully its a much bigger size than in the Hexa too. In terms of features other than that there is plenty to talk about. The Harman infotainment system get Android Auto with Apple CarPlay pending soon. Along with that there is an 8-speaker system that admittedly sounds very nice plus push push button start, rear camera display, reverse parkin sensors, steering controls, climate control, rear ac vents (two speed blower control), power adjustable and retractable mirrors, dual airbags with ABS.

The coolest feature though is wearable key which looks like a strength band. Other than the usual key fob, this wearable key gives you the convenience to not bear the key fob, instead wear this and the car will unlock itself with you exhausting this.

storage space is done very well too with a large cooled glovebox plus the door pockets have an umbrella holder too, along with that the centre console has a sliding storage area which is useful another time. Few things that we noticed though as the rear camera display could have been better, the handbrake is positioned on the left, plus we feel the gear lever and the drive mode selector take up a huge amount of room and reaching out for the small USB slot is awkward.

In terms of space do not let its scope fool you as its a Tata Motors product all right. You sit lower which has been done to protect headroom and the rising casement line limits view out from the back but legroom is quite good and so is carry room which means three can get it, unlike some of its rivals. The seats themselves are comfy with good support all around. Its boot is superior than its main rival as well with 350l while you can get bigger it with 690l.

There are two engines option with the 1.2l Revotron turbo petrol ( 108 bhp/ 170Nm) and a new 1.5 Revotorq diesel (108 bhp/260Nm). Both have a six speed manual as typical. An AMT is expected later. We first drove the diesel and this new train certainly is better than the 1.3 Multijet diesel. It is slightly more refined and there is much less lag. Power rescue is smooth and not erratic with considerable punch at low speeds whih means you do not need to shift gears constantly. While more refined than the earlier diesel, it is still a tad noisy. at the same time as the mid-range is strong, power tapers off at the top and the Nexon diesel is best left to cruise , using its forceful mid-range. The six-speed manual is new highlight and shift quality is very good and accurate but both the gearbox and clutch are on the heavy side to use.

More than the diesel even if we loved the petrol more and it suited to the character of the Nexon as a agile crossover. Compared to the diesel, its modification is superb and while thanks to its weight and lack of torque, you do require to use the gearbox more in the city, the gearbox and clutch itself is lighter and feels better tahn the diesel. However on one occasion past that, it gathers buzz at the higher revs and is quite fun to develop unlike the diesel. In terms of ride and handling it is one of the more fun cars and one of the best Tata cars.

While the suspension is stiffer compare so some Tata cars and sharp potholes do filter, the overall absorbtion is much better than its rivals plus body control is astonishingly good too. As speeds rise, the ride quality and driving knowledge represent a new dynamic standard that Tata Motors have met. The heavier diesel feels a bit nose heavy while the more weak petrol feels lighter and good to drive being quite agile plus the brake work very well too.

The steering is also way superior than some of its rivals too with not being overly light and completly devoid of any feedback. It weighs up nicely and score top marks. The healthy 209mm ground clearance helps it swallow bad roads with ease and that is a boon but it is a strict intersect, no 4WD or any off-roading here.

Everytime we constrain a new Tata car we say it is the best they have made and that shows the strides that the car-maker is taking. The Nexon is Tata Motors triumph a new level. The design is the new segment target and that alone will win the Nexon many buyers. But the interiors and general quality is a big step up, it drives quite well, is spacious and by and large ticks all the correct boxes. What we like is that it stands out from other cars and it does so well. Yes it is not perfect and few issues need to be sorted but if price sensibly (i.e. below the Brezza) the Nexon is the subsequent success chapter for Tata Motors after the Tiago. And this time it promise to be a bigger one.

Mubarakan movie reviews Anil Kapoor Arjun Kapoor wiki

Cast: Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty, Neha Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah

Director: Anees Bazme

Rating: Two stars

Twin trouble capers come preloaded with a certain degree of comedian verve. So does Mubarakan, directed by Anees Bazmee of No Entry and Singh is Kinng reputation. But in trying to squeeze every ounce of hilarity out of its scrappy screenplay, the film goes overboard with its unnecessary cheeriness and swerves into the realm of inanity. In the bargain, it loses its way finally after delivering a fairly gusty first half.

Mubarakan is generally puerile, sporadically fun, and always unabashedly over the top. It is just the sort of mix of song, dance, comic gags and unchecked lunacy that Bollywood's mass audience so loves. So, there is superhit written all over the film, but this puffy potion simply isn't for those with a taste for more subtle and easy-flowing humour. Mubarakan tries too hard to tickle our humorous bones and the effort show.

Its songs and comic gag are of the routine variety. It seeks to drive itself on the back of the seductive power of familiarity, manages to do a tolerable job pre-interval but, taken as a whole, Mubarakan is neatly and niftily package crap that never stops reeking of stupidity. If there is anything positive in this attempt laugh riot, it is its refusal to take itself seriously - an attribute that stand the film in good stead when it begins to make bigger beyond the plausible and the drivable.

Mubarakan is a comedy that revolve around two weddings and a whole lot of confusion. Before the lovebirds can have their nuptials solemnized in a gurudwara, they boast to fly though two-and-a-half hours of turmoil caused by familial pressure and mistaken amorous liaison.

The twins alienated at birth are played by Arjun Kapoor. One, Charan, grows up as a turbaned Sardar in the home of Baldev (Pavan Malhotra) in Punjab. The other, Karan, is raised by Baldev's elder sister Jeeto (Ratna Pathak Shah), in London. In the film's notch sequence, the two boys lose their parents in a road mishap. Their bachelor uncle Kartar (Anil Kapoor), who has bowed a rustic part of the UK into a mini Punjab, divides the orphans sandwiched between his two elder siblings and then profits to fuel the chaos that ensues when the duo is ready for dalliances.

The clumsy Charan, five minutes Karan's junior, loves Nafisa Qureishi (Neha Sharma) but lacks the guts to let his conservative folks know his feelings for the girl. As a consequence, his minister and his London-based aunt decide that he is a suitable boy for Binkle (Athiya Shetty), offspring of a wealthy Punjabi (Rahul Dev).

Charan turns to uncle Kartar for help in order to scuttle the in the near future wedding. At the uncle's behest, he passes himself off as a drug addict. Binkle's father and her brother Manpreet (Karan Kundrra) throw a fit and humiliate Charan's adoptive father Baldev. The latter and Jeeto end up fighting so violently over the imbroglio that they stop talking to every other. The slighted Baldev asserts that he will find a bride for Charan within a month. He foliage for Chandigarh without exchanging goodbyes.

In Punjab, Baldev chances upon Sweety Gill (Ileana D'Cruz) and plumps for her as Charan's future wife. The trouble is, unbeknownst to the world, Sweety is Karan's girlfriend. She has had the worst possible brush with Jeeto, calling her probable mom-in-law names that the latter doesn't forget in a hurry. The next thing that the cocksure Karan knows is that he is currently the chosen one for Binkle. He, too, seeks the involvement of Kartar in order to wriggle out of the hole he has dig for himself.

The rigmarole is pleasurable up to a point but once the idiocy quotient peaks, the overlong Mubarakan goes rather haywire. Yet, if it isn't as insufferable as other usual Bollywood romantic comedies, a part of the credit goes to the actors. Anil Kapoor, who is as wild as ever, lends some lustre to the proceedings with his impressive energy level and funny one-liners.

Arjun Kapoor is far less dependable in his double role, but he does strike a few purple patches along the way, demonstrating a comic flair that cries out for a better pictures than this one. The script gives Athiya Shetty the rough end of the stick. Her character, as Kartar says at one point, is like a tennis ball being lobbed back and forth among Charan's side of the court and Karan's without being allowed any agency of her own. Mubarakan, nevertheless, gives Ileana D'Cruz far more space and she make the most of the opening.

Neha Sharma, in a particular appearance, is allowed little that could be described as special in a role that definitely deserved more attention. She plays a harsh Muslim girl with a successful law job who does not fit into the mainstream Sikh brood's scheme of things and has to settle for a hurried, last-minute adjustment, which entails jumping into a new bond with Binkle's brother. That's a copout of the worst kind. But to expect nuanced and mould-breaking shared dynamics in a film like Mubarakan is to take it more badly than its makers themselves do.
