Sapna Choudhary gets evicted from Salman Khan's show

#Sapna was nominated for elimination along with Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde and Priyank Sharma. Sapna's eviction was announced by host Salman Khan, who revealed that she received the least number of votes.

It was a tough #nomination this week given that all the four nominated contestants were strong contenders with a huge fan base. #Unfortunately#it was Sapna who received the least number of votes and had to taake the exit.

Sapna was close to Hina, #Priyank# and Luv #Tyagi inside the house and her #elimination surely did disappoint her gang. In the past week, Sapna had turned aggressive towards housemates, probably to stay in limelight and #save herself from #eelimination.

#Besides taking up an unnecessary fight with #Puneesh# Sharma during the #courtroom drama for the luxury budget task, fans have also been criticising Sapna for getting influenced by Hina's tricks and not using her brain.#Salman, who has been guiding the contestants all these while, tried to sort out the issue by bringing the two to the Sultani Akhada for a battle. The Sultani Akhara segment has become a ritual in the season where two contestants battle against each other. While Puneesh agreed to the battle, Akash refused despite Saalman's requests. #Akash's #adamant behaviour infuriated the superstar, who walked out of the show.

Movie reviews-Shubh Mangal Saavdhan 2017

Cast: Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Brijendra Kala, Shubhankar Tripathi

Director: R S Prasanna

Rating: 3 Stars (Out of 5)

Nobody so much as utters 'erectile dysfunction', or 'impotence', in Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan, a cockeyed take on a predicament that is no smiling matter. The film's male protagonist isn't up to the challenge of going the whole hog in bed. His battle with his dodgy libido is euphemistically referred to as "gent's problem": very much in trust with the Delhi NCR middle-class socio-cultural surroundings of the story.

Pidgin English holds sway here. This is the Hindi heartland: the hero swears 'loyaltiness' to his would-be bride and marriage is planned in clumsy but innocuous ways. Trouble erupts when the hero's attempts at expressing youthful sexual desire fail to deliver the desired results and two cantankerous families get sucked into a series of slugfests as the youthful couple look for ways around their predicament.

This is highly tricky terrain but director R S Prasanna skirts around the potential pitfalls with the help of loads of maturity and a time and again light touch. The result: this comedic tale on love and lust caught in a zone of grave uncertainty never flirts with prurience.

Prasanna is aided by the lead pair - Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, both bright and boundlessly energetic - as well as a wonderful supporting cast (Seema Pahwa, Brijendra Kala Chitranjan Tripathy, Neeraj Sood). jointly they ensure that the dual glue of plain humour and believable situations prevents the ticklish central concept from falling apart.

But hang on, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan isn't flawless. Especially off-key is the overdramatic climax (in which an act of foolhardiness by the hero seems wholly at odds with the otherwise realistic tenor of the tale). One or two other passages in the lead-up to the convenient conclusion to the newly married couple's dilemma might also have done with some pruning and layering.

Be that as it may, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, a remake of the director's own 2013 Tamil sleeper hit Kalyana Samayal Saadham, is worthy of round of applause for the way it breaks the patriarchal notions of masculinity that have been perpetuated ad infinitum by the popular strain of Indian cinema that has been built around a mard who feels no dard. Here the hero's torture and bewilderment are real and his frailties, physical and emotional, aren't blamed in the lead anybody else but himself. It is he who's got to sort it out in the mind and the stiff, with, of course, a great deal of help from the woman in his life.

The drama is predicated on his indecisive relationship with the heroine, a girl with a mind of her own, as well as on his run-ins with his own parents and with the girl's baffled and exasperated father and mother. Parts of the latter portions strain credibility a bit since a delicate personal problem going as communal as it does is a touch difficult to digest.
Such irritants are minor and the spirit of the film is generally pleasant and innocuous even when it directs sharp barbs at the communal order that imposes its standard idea of mardangi on all men, without allowing space for the possibility of behavioural variations.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the story of Gurgaon boy Mudit Sharma (Ayushmann Khurrana) and a Moti Bagh girl Sugandha Joshi (Bhumi Pednekar) whose paths cross in Nehru Place, plunges into the heart of the matter without much foreplay. The guy is shy and the girl has had an overly protected upbringing that prevented free mixing with member of the opposite sex. It takes them a while and many a slip (including the hug of a bear, literally) to find ordinary ground and get their parents' acquiescence. And then the twosome hits a wall.

Mudit decides to give pre-marital s*x a shot because he doesn't want to waste any time getting to know Sugandha after marriage. Their clumsy attempt stops at inelegant snuggling. Mudit discovers that he cannot consummate his passion. The director is at his best in these difficult moments of the script. He keeps it tight and direct and looks the difficulty in the eye without slipping into any trace of vulgarity.
As the lovers kiss gawkily and attempt a quickie in a room in the girl's DDA apartment, the director takes recourse to the voice of radio raconteur Neelesh Misra to narrate a tangential story of a boy who devoured bottles of Banta soda waiting interminably to muster the courage to profess his love for a girl who catches his fancy. This sets the tone for the rest of the film, apart from for the rather dangly conclusion.

Mudit sinks into deep despair when he experiences first-hand the consequences of his performance anxiety that he suggests they call off the marriage. Sugandha puts her foot down and leaves for Haridwar, the venue of the wedding. Mudit drags himself there with such an air of despondency that Sugandha is compelled to give him a piece of her mind. "Muskurao hamari shaadi ho rahi hai (Smile, we are getting married), she exhorts him only to elicit a limp response.

In one first half prospect, Sugandha's mother, played superbly by Seema Pahwa, recites to her daughter a poem that she penned 30 years ago after her honeymoon and then likens the s**ual politics of marriage to Alibaba of the Arabian Nights tale trying to open the door to the treasure hidden in the thieves' cave. This sequence follows a shot of a soggy biscuit dropping into a cup of tea by way of an analogy for Mudit's state. That is the farthest this film is willing to go bring home the nature of the hero's infirmity.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan stays strictly within the limits of suitability in dealing with a thorny theme that could easily have plunged into overt ineptness. Lightheartedness is the cloak it wears to conceal its uneasy patches. That it succeeds in that endeavour more often than not is a measure of the director's ability.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, breezy sufficient at its core not to be bogged down by the weight of its daring and untested essential plot point, is never less than amusing.

Movie Reviews Toilet Ek Prem Katha Wiki Now

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher
Director: Shree Narayan Singh

Rating: (3/5)

From Salman Khan to Priyanka Chopra, several Bollywood bigwigs selected up a broom to extend their support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Akshay Kumar took it to the next level and strong-willed to be the mission's official cheerleader and feature in a full-length film revolving around it.

It is no surprise, then, that some of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha's dialogues sound like something straight out of a public service message - "Biwi paas chahiye, toh ghar mein sandaas chahiye," "problem shauch ki nahi, soch ki hai."

The story is this. Keshav (Akshay) is a 36-year-old manglik who has been not capable to find a bride. Enter Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar). After some initial stalking turned into love, the two get married. But all hell breaks loose when Jaya is wake up at 4am by the ladies of the village to join their "lota party".

Turns out, present is not a single toilet in the village, and the women go into the fields while it is still dark to relieve themselves. Jaya refuses to respond nature's call in the open, and walks out of her marital home until Keshav builds a toilet for her.

difficulty is, the village elders will not budge - "Jis aangan mein tulsi lagate hai, wahaan shauch karna shuru kar de?" Under these circumstances, will Keshav and Jaya ever be reunited?

Since Baby (2015), Akshay Kumar has not let the loyalist in him take a backseat. In Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, too, he launches into lofty monologues about the menace of open defecation, especially its impact on women. He singlehandedly fights against the "sabhyata" and "sanskriti" squad and vows to get a toilet installed in the village. The storytelling can get tawdry at times, but Akshay manage to bring earnestness into his character.

Bhumi Pednekar makes Jaya individual; at no point does the audience feel like it is an actor essaying the part on screen. She is remarkable as the school topper who stands up for her right.

Some parts of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha could very well be an election campaign for the ruling party. Sample this: Who is responsible for the toilet scams worth thousands of crores? The people, of course! The film tells us that the government is doing its best to install toilets, but the people just won't change their mindset and let that happen. There is also a dialogue along the lines of, "Jab humare pradhan mantri desh ke bhalayi ke liye notebandi karwa sake hai, toh hum itna sa nahi kar sakte?"

What workings for the film is the hinterland humour. In an elaborate sequence, Akshay Kumar's character gets married to a buffalo to get rid of his "manglik dosh". It is the laughs which take absent your unease about the extent of the two-and-a-half-hour-long film.

If you can manage to ignore its preachiness at times, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is worth the price of your ticket, GST included.

Come up with a Royal Enfield competitor-Here's what to expect

After days of speculations nearby the sale of Ducati and Bajaj being the one to buy it, a big announcement came through today. Bajaj Auto enter into a non-equity tie-up with Triumph Motorcycles of UK to make mid-range motorcycles. Now before we dive further into the details of this, let me make it clear that Bajaj is still not out of the race to buy Ducati and the deal with achievement is independent of it. So we could still see Bajaj organism the proud owner of the iconic Ducati brand. That said, let's get straight to the details of the tie-up with Triumph, which came out of nowhere. Rajiv Bajaj had stated an interesting alliance to be announce but no one expected Triumph to be the other partner. Now that we know they are going to co-develop and sell motorcycles, let us evaluate what is it that you as a buyer can imagine to buy in the next few years.

'Mid-range' is the keyword in the friendship release and while both brands have not disclosed anything else about the type of motorcycles they'll make, it's not a very hard guess and here's why. The new range of motorcycles will in all likelihood be contrived at Bajaj's plant in Chakan, Maharashtra. Benefiting from Bajaj's well-established network of suppliers and scale of manufacturing, it'll be possible to maintain ready for action pricing. Triumph, on the other hand, will present technology and design inputs for the new motorcycles.

Now, what type of motorcycles are we talking about? Sports slice is out of the question as Bajaj already makes KTM at its Chakan plant and considering the stellar sales performance of KTM in India, there's no reason why Bajaj would want to overlay similar products and mystify the buyers. In addition, there's Husqvarna as well, which will soon come to India. So what does that leave us with? In glasses case you just murmured Royal Enfield or Bullet, give yourselves a pat on the back.

Royal Enfield's fugitive success did leave most companies awestruck globally but there wasn't much they could do as they simply didn't have a product to take on the legendary Bullet. Soon though, companies realised that the number of buyers in this space kept growing at a extraordinary pace and Honda was the first global company to openly declare a motorbike aimed at competing with Royal Enfield. Triumph and Bajaj too will most likely make motorcycles displacing between 300 to 600 cc, which is the stronghold of Royal Enfield right now.

So what you be supposed to expect from this tie-up is a mini Bonneville kind of motorcycle that will most likely be powered by a range of single-cylinder engines to keep cost in check. Expect the 'Bonneville' brand to be used on the new range as it is important to have a brand with the legacy to take on the Bullet. Considering Bajaj's capacity to price KTMs way below expectations, it'll be safe to expect the new Bajaj Triumph bikes to be priced aggressively and not too far away from the Royal Enfield prices. However, do not look forward to these bikes to challenge Royal Enfield prices like KTM, which mainly went up aligned with the locally-assembled competition. In this case, though, it's local manufacturing on both ends so the chances of a noteworthy gap in prices are slim.

What's in it for the companies?

Quite simply, more sales and more money but for Bajaj particularly it'll be a big development as Rajiv Bajaj has had his eyes on the Royal Enfield segment for a while now and he was quite vocal about it at the launch of the Dominar 400 also. Over the last few years, Bajaj has pursued higher profitability instead of volumes and a strong attendance in the 300-600 cc cruiser market will be in line with the company's approach.

For Triumph, this progress will mean introduction into an all-new low-displacement segment, which in turn will allow the British brand to grow appreciably in terms of volumes, similar to the growth KTM witnessed after Bajaj bought a stake in it.

What about Royal Enfield then? First, the company should be glad that it dominates a segment that international brands are now waking up to in pursuit of growth. At the same time, the Chennai-based company should also be worried as no antagonism till now meant they could get away with quality and technology issues. With the Bajaj and Triumph tie-up and Honda now in the picture, things could be quite different as all three companies are well-respected for their industrial capability in their respective segments of operation. Royal Enfield will also need to look at a faster pace of introducing new models in order to keep new competitor in check.

The middle-weight squad car category is all set to witness tremendous action over the next few years and the single-largest winner is going to the consumer. customers presently lack choices in this segment but soon, you might have multiple global products to choose from, which won't necessarily burn a hole in your pocket. Whether or which company become successful or not will take a few years to be known as we expect Bajaj and Triumph to be ready with their new bike in the next two to three years and Honda too will be ready only by 2020. However, what I can reassure you of is temperatures soaring in the Indian premium cruiser motorbike segment and for a rider that only means better and well-priced motorcycles to ride.

Indu Sarkar Movie Review Wiki

CAST: Kirti Kulhari, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh
DIRECTION: Madhur Bhandarkar
GENRE: Drama
DURATION: 2 hours 19 minutes
CRITIC'S REVIEW
THE EMERGENCE OF BHANDARKAR

INDU SARKAR STORY: Indu’s husband, a administration employee, believes in using the state of disaster to advance his career, but a moral and ideological discrepancy sets her on a own path.

INDU SARKAR REVIEW: Madhur Bhandarkar seems to be enchanting calculated baby steps back to the time when he insisted on telling real story as opposed to manufacture superficial subjects seem real.
To this end, he even breaks with his usual modus operandi of attacking and “unmasking” a particular industry and roots Indu’s (Kirti Kulhari) fictitious tale in the factual setting of the state of Emergency that the state was shrouded in from 1975 to 1977.

Indu, an withdrawn orphan who stutters, finds a companion in Navin Sarkar (Tota Roy Chowdhury), who is the first person to look beyond her speech obstacle and ask her what she wants from life. She only finds the answer to his problem after their wedding, when she sees him in cahoots with the ministers who bend the rules to benefit from the Emergency. The moral mystery pushes her into a life of rebellion and forces her to fraction with her hard-earned normalcy.

The movie present a fairly irregular account of the 19 months of Emergency in hurried montages. The party leaders are overtly villainous and members of the disobedient Himmat India Sangathan (including Indu) are overwhelmingly righteous; Bhandarkar fails to achieve political neutrality. Another issue is the film’s dialogue by Sanjay Chhel; some unbelievable lines get lost in throwaway scenes and clichés like, "gareebon ko jeene ka haq nahi hai?" take prominence. middle through the movie, when you’re just getting used to the pace, a surprise qawwali jump at you and throws you off.

However, Indu Sarkar is at its best when it focuses on its protagonist's emotional struggles and dilemmas, send-off the politics behind. Indu and Navin’s story by itself is far more palatable than the elaborate following schemes surrounding them. Kirti Kulhari shoulders the responsibility of the central role with a lot of earnestness and keep you interested. Tota Roy Chowdhury make for a high-quality foil to Indu.

One even suggested that the advert had made her consider becoming vegetarian, tweeting: "Am I the only one who wants to go veggie after surveillance KFC's atrocious new advert? Chicken dancing to the slaughter house."

It is an disagreement backed up by PETA, with the animal rights organisation's director Elisa Allen telling The Independent: "It certainly looks as if we designed it, because it challenges anyone thinking of eating chickens to look these smart, sociable, sensitive and stunning birds in the eye and recognise that they're persons, not body parts to be decrepit as nuggets."

Vikram Vedha movie review 2017

Film: Vikram Vedha

Director: Pushkar-Gayatri

Cast: R Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar

Rating: 4/5

Vikram Vedha, in each sense, is truly path-breaking and all credit goes to its writer and director duo Pushkar-Gayatri, the husband-wife duo who has made a physically powerful comeback after seven years with a film that’ll be remembered for, say, the next seven years. Not only is their film entertaining from start to finish, it’s equally attractive and it succeeds in piquing the intellect of audiences like no recent Tamil film.

The plot is effortless. A team lead by Vikram (R Madhavan), a ruthless, no-nonsense meet cop, is on the hunt to capture/kill a dreaded gangster Vedha (Vijay Sethupathi). In this battle of good versus evil, as audiences we are left to pick a side but everything you see is not what you believe. There’s always another side to all in life and Vikram Vedha, in the most entertaining fashion, makes its viewers understand this attitude.

The film keeps approaching us to judge its characters, judge an important person by their actions, judge someone by their upbringing and in the process proves how wrong we could be in our assumptions. Pushkar-Gayatri borrow the story structure from popular folklore Vikram Betaal, and use it very effectively to make Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi lock horns. The confrontation scenes between Madhavan and Vijay are easily the film’s best moment as they end in fireworks.

Vikram Vedha turns each predictable moment into an unimaginable twist and it works in the film’s favour beautifully. The black-and-white symbol, used extensively throughout the film and even in the theme song, explores the space between good and bad. Every quality has shades of grey and it would be impossible to imagine who could be good or bad. still the costumes are predominantly black and white. Even in terms of shot composition, in every frame of the film, you’ll find white as healthy as black space.

The performances of Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi come as a extra to some terrific writing. It’s a joy to watch them lock horns and they make you root for both of them. While Madhavan is good, Vijay is unarguably the best thing to have happened to the film. It’s with unmatchable swag he plays Vedha, a character powered by wit, fearlessness and street-smart accepted wisdom. The film also has strong women Shraddha and Varalaxmi  rising above the usual interpretation of heroines in Tamil cinema and leaving a eternal impact.

Munna Michael movie reviews 2017

Cast: Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nidhhi Agerwal, Ronit Roy

Director: Sabbir Khan

Rating: 1.5 Stars (Out of 5)

This is a classic demonstration of filmmaking by rote. A big city waif grows up into a young man who adores Michael Jackson and is strong-minded to follow in the path of the King of Pop. The Mumbai lad hopes that his mouth as a performer will one day be his ticket out the chawl anyplace he was raised by Michael (Ronit Roy), a hard-drinking Catholic bloke no different from all the talkative Catholic characters that we have come across in Hindi films over the years. The foster-father never graduate beyond the level of a chorus dancer. Munna, the superfluous boy he rescued off the mean streets, does not want to end up as one.

So what does the guy do? He does the whole thing that Tiger Shroff did in his previous two outings under the directorial supervision of Sabbir Khan (Heropanti and Baaghi) - dance a lot and fight a lot without achieving anything that could be construed as consequential. The film about a youngster who has his sights set on winning a dance match is a formulaic and frenzied mix of over-the-top choreography, action sequence, a forcibly tagged-on love story and a bad guy who gives no quarters, all which simple fly by in a blur. In other words, Munna Michael is a mixed-genre evil that never hits any kind of rhythm.

Matters begin settle down a just a tad when a Rajasthani dialect-spouting hoodlum Mahinder (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) enters the scene. He requirements to learn how to dance in organize to impress the girl he loves. The ambitious protagonist agrees to become the land-grabbing goon's dance instructor because he sees in the association of expediency the key to his future.

All is hunky-dory until it turns out that the educator and the trainee are in love with the same girl, Dolly (debutante Nidhhi Agerwal), who herself is no mean dancer. The rigmarole that ensues is as unappetizing as surveillance two men jostle for a toehold on a treadmill. After spending a part of the film delivering gifts to Dolly on behalf of Mahinder, Munna sees improved percentage in profess love to her. Mahinder, on his part, see red and all hell breaks.

The superwoman has challenges other than competing with two men vying for her consideration - her father is opposed to her pursuit of dancing glory. It is obvious that it is men who call the shots in the girl's life. Mahinder pursues her devoid of as much as a by-your-leave; Munna assumes the role of a knight in shining armour (again, without Dolly being permissible much of a say in the matter). And then this 'invisible' father is spring upon us.

As is obvious, Munna Michael has nothing original or novel on offer. Tiger Shroff's choice as an actor could fit into a single-toned miniature - you don't need to see Munna Michael to come to that conclusion. It simply serves as a aide memoire. The film follows a simple formula: Tiger dances when he isn't fighting and he fight when he isn't dancing. Why can't the guy just make up his intelligence whether he wants to be Michael Jackson or Jean-Claude Van Damme and stick to using either his nimble feet or his electric fists to make his point? In in quest of to do both with equal gusto he falls between two stools, transportation the film with him.

This whole dance-action sort is a dubious Bollywood invention created for actor and screenplay writers whose imagination runs out of steam as soon as the focus begins to move away from the dance floor or the action set pieces. It is the straightforward way out. Sadly, the way out here goes in a single direction - down.

What, then, is Nawazuddin Siddiqui doing in a film like this? The astounding thing about this actor is that he extracts life out of the most comatose of scenes, combine menace and comicality to carve out the persona of a bad guy who is good to watch. Wish one could say the same about Munna Michael the film. Even if you were in a above all lenient frame of mind, you wouldn't be able to bring yourself to spot anything at all in the film that could be held up as a positive feature.

Debutante Nidhhi Agerwal isn't a complete article. Tiger Shroff, with all his boundaries, is beginning to get there, but what his choice of roles and films tells us is that dance and action are his scene. But in the absence of a articulate screenplay to hang all the hyperactivity from, his grand scenes fizzle out.

Munna Michael is only for fans of Tiger Shroff. All ye that haven't yet figure out what he is about, stay out of the way. You aren't likely to go home purring and dancing after watching this one.
